Welcome to the Blanchetters for UNHCR fundraiser page! We are a worldwide group of Cate Blanchett fans reaching out to all corners of the globe with a special fundraising effort to celebrate Cate’s birthday by supporting the UNHCR - the UN Refugee Agency.
Having gained approval from UNHCR representatives for our mission, our donation effort will be running between now and Cate’s birthday, May 14th.

The UNHCR is a vital global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.
Cate Blanchett was appointed as Global Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR in 2016 and has since inspired us with her efforts to raise awareness on behalf of the millions of displaced people around the world – and now we want to do our part by raising funds to honor this important cause as a birthday gesture to her.

The #BlanchettersForUNHCR is a non-profit and non-official fan project that aims to raise money to contribute to the UN Refugee Agency and people under forced displacement worldwide.
Cate is not only an amazing actress, intellect, artist, mother, woman, human ... but she also serves as a Global Goodwill Ambassador of the UNHCR, which works to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge, having fled violence, persecution, war or disaster at home.
